Heritage Academy Launches HIP/HIS: A New International Pathway for Global Learners

Empowering Learners. Building Futures. Impacting the World.

Heritage Academy is excited to announce the launch of our newest curriculum offering — the Heritage International Primary (HIP) and Heritage International Secondary (HIS) programmes. Designed for families seeking a structured, globally benchmarked education, HIP/HIS bridges the gap between foundational learning and high-stakes international certifications, preparing students for success at every stage of their academic journey.

A Structured Pathway From Primary to University

HIP/HIS offers a clear, progressive route from Primary 1 all the way through to Singapore Cambridge IGCSE and beyond:

  • HIP Primary (P1–P6): Strong foundations for curious minds and joyful learners.
  • HIS Lower Secondary (Sec 1–2): Building knowledge, developing skills, and discovering potential through authentic, inquiry-based tasks.
  • HIS Upper Secondary (Sec 3–4): Thinking critically, exploring interests, and preparing for the demands of formal examinations.
  • Cambridge IGCSE: An internationally recognised, globally accepted qualification that leaves students ready for what’s next — whether that’s Polytechnic, Junior College, Cambridge A Levels, or University Foundation routes.

At every stage, the programme is aligned with GCE O-Level and Cambridge IGCSE benchmarks, ensuring academic rigour while building the 21st-century competencies our students need for the future.

Learning That Connects the Dots

What sets HIP/HIS apart is its commitment to cross-disciplinary, STREAM-based learning — Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics woven together rather than taught in isolation. Students might apply English research skills to a Global Perspectives project, or use Mathematics and Digital Literacy to support a Science investigation. This inquiry-based approach transforms students into self-directed, critical thinkers, ready for global citizenship.

Underpinning it all are 7 Essential 21st-Century Skills that every HIP/HIS learner is equipped with: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Digital Literacy, Leadership, and Adaptability.

“We designed HIP/HIS to give our students more than just strong grades — we wanted to give them the confidence, curiosity, and character to thrive wherever their journey takes them next.” — [Quote to be confirmed with Programme Coordinator/Administrator]

Strong Foundations, Limitless Opportunities

Every step of the HIP/HIS pathway is built on the same foundations families already trust us for: academic excellence, Christian values and character, 21st-century competencies, technology empowerment, and global perspectives. From strong beginnings in Primary through to Cambridge IGCSE, students graduate with multiple pathways open to them — Polytechnics, Junior Colleges, Cambridge A Levels, or University Foundation routes — all leading toward the same goal: limitless opportunities.

As we like to say at Heritage Academy: from strong foundations to a world of opportunities, we walk with your child every step of the way.
