A Fun and Exciting First Step Into Grade 1
Heritage Academy was delighted to welcome families to our recent Heritage Academy Experience Day, where children and parents had the opportunity to discover what learning is like at Heritage Academy. It was a wonderful morning filled with excitement, exploration, and meaningful connections as we welcomed our future learners into a warm and nurturing environment.
Throughout the session, children participated in a variety of engaging activities, including Phonics & Reading, Handwriting Practice, Creative Art & Craft, Show & Tell, and Interactive Classroom Learning. These hands-on experiences were carefully designed to spark curiosity, encourage participation, and help children build confidence as they prepare for the transition into Grade 1. From sharing ideas with new friends to expressing their creativity, every activity allowed children to experience the joy of learning in a supportive setting.
Beyond the classroom activities, parents had the opportunity to learn more about Heritage Academy’s educational approach and how we support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. Our educators enjoyed connecting with families, answering questions, and sharing how we create an environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential. It was also a wonderful opportunity for parents to experience firsthand the caring culture and strong sense of community that make Heritage Academy a special place to learn and grow.
