Heritage Academy is bringing our signature Heritage International Curriculum (HIC) pathway to every campus — Khatib, Hougang, Thomson, and Bukit Gombak — starting in 2027. This includes HIP, the Heritage International Curriculum (Primary), and HIS, and the Heritage International Curriculum (Secondary).
HIC is built for families who want more than textbook education. It is an internationally aligned curriculum, structured around GCE O-Level and Cambridge IGCSE standards, that pairs serious academic rigor with experiential, hands-on learning. Children do not just memorize concepts — they explore them: through projects, real-world applications, and activities designed to make ideas stick.
A Structured Pathway from Primary to University
Today, we opened our doors to give parents and children a first-hand look at what this pathway means in practice:
- Parents joined a sharing session to understand the HIC curriculum in depth — how it is structured, what it covers, and what to expect as their child progresses through it.
- Children stepped into the classroom for themselves. Our younger students (Primary 1–3) took part in Story Mountain, crafting their own short stories, while upper grade students (Primary 4-6) got hands-on with science experiments using microscopes and the Secondary 1-2 students learned about Greenhouse Effect and its application for the world.
- Our current HIC students highlighted the projects and hard work they have built throughout the year, giving visiting families a real glimpse of what their own child could create.
The result is a pathway that steadily builds proficiency from Primary through Secondary, preparing students academically while keeping them genuinely engaged in the process. Character, critical thinking, and a love of learning grow alongside the academics — not instead of them.
